Clear a space roughly 60 feet long and 10 feet wide for the truck to back in and roll the container off. Move vehicles, trash carts, basketball hoops and portable equipment well before the delivery window.
Check overhead clearance. Trucks need about 22 feet of vertical room when the container is tilted off the bed, so mature trees and low service lines matter more than most people expect. Mark the exact placement spot with cones or a chalk outline and note which way the door should face.
If the surface is a decorative driveway, tell us in advance so boards go down. Finally, plan an unobstructed exit path for pickup day: a car parked in front of the container is the single most common cause of a wasted trip charge.
